Student Government

Because we are a Girls School and a Boys School, there are equal opportunities to serve in leadership positions for both genders, as each school has their own student government.

These two governing bodies–Factores for the girls and Student Council for the boys–collaborate to promote a welcoming and inclusive school atmosphere. They also each work independently with their respective principal to foster communication between the administration and student body and meeting the needs of their respective school.

Most student government members are leaders of a class or club, and are elected each spring. Freshman, Sophomore and Junior Class Presidents are elected in the fall by their respective incoming classes.

Factores - Girls School

The word "Factores" means "Those Who Act" or "Doers." Throughout the year, Factores members can be found spearheading school-improvement efforts and performing various uses that keep the school running—from taking attendance to preparing the chapel for morning worship.
