Principals Welcome Letter for 2026-2027

Principals Welcome Letter for 2026-2027

Dear ANC Community,

We hope you had a wonderful summer, wherever this may find you. Here on campus, we are busy welcoming new and returning students to our ANC community. Our school theme this year is, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” (Luke 6:31). It has been a real joy to see students and staff living this theme together in the classrooms, dorms, and extracurricular activities.

While summer naturally had a slower pace on campus, we were happy to see it come to life with two long standing camps. Our Performing Arts Camp welcomed rising seventh, eighth and ninth graders to campus for a week of connection, collaboration and growth in the world of theater. Thirty nine students treated audiences to productions of Disney's Frozen Jr. We are always so impressed with the work produced by these campers, counselors, and directors in such a short time!

ANC Camp welcomed 75 enthusiastic rising ninth and tenth graders for a week of good, old-fashioned ANC fun! We are grateful to the teachers, ministers, alumni, and community members who provided meaningful and memorable experiences for our campers.

School officially opened on August 31, with sports camps and welcoming activities taking place the week prior. Five fall sports, as well as the dance team, ran pre-season camps providing opportunities for connection among our students even before classes began. Parents joined us on Sunday, August 30, at 2:00 for a Back to School Event, where they met faculty and staff, and experienced a shortened version of their student’s day.

We hope that you are able to join us on campus during the upcoming school year. You can find up to date information regarding activities, performances and athletic contests at www.ancss.org/calendars. This year, the ANC Performing Arts Department will produce The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon in the fall, and a musical, Matilda, in the spring.

Mark your calendars - Charter Day festivities will take place on campus and around town from Thursday, October 8 through Sunday October 11. Keep an eye on our website for details.

Thank you for your continued support of ANC.

Sincerely,

Jeremy Irwin and Erica Stine
