This week, ANC had a unique educational opportunity to discuss issues of race, class, religion, gender and bias through The Defamation Experience.
Thanksgiving Day Service
ANC’s community service club, Delta Mu, will be collecting donations of canned and packaged food at the Bryn Athyn Church Thanksgiving service on behalf of Hope Prison Ministry, which helps support families of inmates.
All are warmly welcome to the Bryn Athyn Church’s annual Thanksgiving service, held on ANC’s campus in the Asplundh Field House on Thursday, November 28th at 10:30am. This is an opportunity for the entire Bryn Athyn and ANC communities to come together and give thanks. Many people also bring an offering of fruit or a root vegetable for the procession during the service in addition to the foods being collected by Delta Mu.
This year’s Delta Mu presidents, Aurelle O and Ethan L, have the following message:
“As Thanksgiving draws near, we like to make an extra effort to appreciate the things we are blessed with, and in turn find ways to share those blessings with others. One of the ways we can participate in the spirit of giving that makes this season so special is by donating food to help those who don't always have enough to enjoy a more plentiful Thanksgiving. If you are feeling able and generous, we would love for you to join us.”
Shuttles will be available from ANC parking lots (MPAC & Pitcairn Hall) as well as the BACS parking lot beginning at 10am, and will resume at the end of the service.
