American Mathematics Competition
The math department would like to congratulate this year's participants in the American Mathematics Competition.
The AMC is sponsored yearly by the Mathematical Association of America and seeks to identify students who excel in mathematics, while also providing a novel challenge to our mathletes. This year nine freshmen and sophomores participated in the AMC10, while 17 juniors and seniors waged competition in the AMC12. Congratulations in particular to the highest scorers on each exam:
AMC10 - Evan B. (winner), Kat S.and Jason L.
AMC 12 - Simon W. (winner), Trajan F. and Levi M.
The competition winners will be immortalized on a plaque on the third floor of deCharms Hall, among the names of previous victors.
