Senior Project allows students to explore a topic of their own choosing, combining class instruction, independent study and mentoring to support their endeavor.
The course begins with a research paper which emphasizes critical thinking. Students then complete a project related to their research and organize a portfolio record of all work. Each student includes a service portion in their project and the course concludes with a public presentation. Many students invest a great deal of time in this course, but also find it exceptionally rewarding. The course's tagline is "Challenge, Stretch and Purpose."
2022 Presentation Schedule
Mark your calendars! Senior Project presentations will take place in Benade Hall auditorium on the dates listed below. Presentations are the culminating event of a Senior Project student's experience. We have a dozen students this year, who have delved into topics from real estate to rock climbing, clothing design to commodity investing. Presentations are an opportunity to hear about their projects, their challenges and their triumphs. Please consider coming out to support them and hear their unique and entertaining stories.
