The Compass Program
The Compass Program at the Academy of the New Church is a dynamic, school-within-a-school initiative that provides a personalized, purpose-driven education grounded in New Church values. Designed for students who learn best through connection and creativity, the program integrates academic study with real-world experience. Built on a foundation of project-based learning, individualized curriculum design, internships, and dual enrollment opportunities, Compass gives students the flexibility to pursue their interests while fulfilling core academic requirements. Guided by mentors and a program coordinator, students take ownership of their learning and develop essential skills for college, career, and life. Compass students remain active members of the ANC community, participating in Homeroom, Chapel, PE, Dance, Sports, Drama, Clubs, and all other extracurricular activities.
