About Charter Day:
Charter Day is our homecoming weekend, held each year in October to celebrate the signing of the Charter for the Academy of the New Church in 1877. Every year, traditional festivities include ANC Secondary Schools reunion events, various ANC athletic contests, and a golf outing fundraiser for our Student Scholarship Fund. The weekend begins with a visually-striking procession in which our students march from the Benade Hall to a worship service and address in Bryn Athyn Cathedral, led by the American flag and the remarkable class banners.
