Community Service | Volunteer Opportunities
In addition to service projects coordinated by Delta Mu, are many opportunities for ANC students to volunteer in the surrounding community. Here are a few local organizations that ANC students volunteer at regularly.
Bryn Athyn Church
The Bryn Athyn Church provides many opportunities for service—students can volunteer for Sunday services, giving tours at Bryn Athyn Cathedral, or help the society with any number of it's other uses both in and around Bryn Athyn. | www.brynathynchurch.org

Boy Scouts Troop 97
The Bryn Athyn Boy Scouts troop is a local member of Boys Scouts of America serving local boys, but also supporting boys from away who are striving to attain the rank of Eagle Scout. | www.scouting.org
Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust
The Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust is a nonprofit land trust dedicated to the stewardship of the lands in the protected Pennypack Watershed. ANC students visit the Pennypack for science classes, service projects, and on their own for bird watching, hiking, or volunteering. | www.pennypacktrust.org
Bryn Athyn Community Theater
Bryn Athyn Community Theater (BACT) is a non-profit amateur theater group whose membership is open to residents of Bryn Athyn and other near-by communities, including students of the Academy of the New Church. BACT is staffed entirely by volunteers, and produces two major productions a year. | www.bact.org
Bryn Athyn Fire Company
Bryn Athyn Fire Company provides emergency medical services and protects 14,000 people in Bryn Athyn and the adjacent township of Lower Moreland. Student members from the Academy Boys' and Girls' School can volunteer to work with community women and men of all ages as firefighters or ambulance providers. | www.bafc.net
Bryn Athyn Orchestra
Bryn Athyn Orchestra rehearses weekly on the high school campus and gives three concerts each year in the Mitchell Performing Arts Center. ANC students are welcome to audition to play with the orchestra. | www.baorchestra.org
