Phi Alpha

Phi Alpha is our club for boys living in Stuart Hall, our boys dormitory. For over 100 years, the Phi Alpha has provided the invaluable bond of brotherhood for our boarding boys, who hail from all regions of North America and as far away as Korea and South Africa. In addition to providing them with a surrogate family, the Phi Alpha instills integrity and strong leadership qualities in our boys. The club motto, Mane in Vero or "Abide in Truth", is the guiding force behind all the Phi Alpha does.

Along with regular club outings and activities, the Phi Alpha hosts two signature annual events. In the fall, the Phi Alpha Haunted Hosue transforms Stuart Hall into a maze of Halloween fun and games, and is open to community members and ANC students alike. In the winter, the boys invite ANC students and their guests to the Phi Alpha Ball—a dance for ANC students and their guests.

Sigma Delta Pi

The club for boys who live locally is Sigma Delta Pi. The Sigma, as it is called familiarly, is best-known for their kindness towards their fellow students; but none do they care for better than their sister club, the DEKA. Sigma boys have been know to wake up early on school mornings to cook breakfast for their sisters in the dorm, or to bring a flower to every dorm girl as they step outside heading up to Benade Hall for homeroom. This courteous and considerate treatment is cherished by the girls and, in the spring, the two clubs work together to put on the Sigma-DEKA Dance for the student body.

When they are not tending to their fellow students, the Sigma invents and perfects lighthearted activities. From their annual homemade-chariot races to their spring camping trip, the Sigma boys know how to have fun!
