Students interested in developing musical skills at ANC have a number of opportunities to do so.

Choral Ensemble

A study of vocal music from the baroque through 20th Century Broadway. Studies will also include music in common use in the New Church. Attention will be given to vocal production, part singing, and general music understanding through listening, participation, and concert performance. This 6th period class meets Mondays and Wednesdays and culminates in the Performing Arts Night at the end of each term.

Instrumental Ensemble

This 6th period class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays and culminates in the Performing Arts Night at the end of each term.

Pit Orchestra

Instrumentalists have the opportunity to participate in the school's annual music theater production. This experience will provide exposure to working with professional artists who will play alongside students, mentoring and supporting them through the preparation and performance process. ANC 6th period instrumental music program is a great way to prepare students for this experience. | 2010 Spring Musical
