Life at the Girls School
Life at the Girls School is vibrant, providing a lively and nurturing place for girls to grow. After the academic day is over, ANC girls enjoy extracurriculars that are designed just for girls. Our sports offerings keep our girls active throughout the year, while campus social life—with common interest clubs, community service activities, and all-girls social clubs—give them a balance of friends and fun.
Our girls are busy and involved. Athletics, performing arts, campus club activities, and academics fill our girls' afternoons. In between the structured activities there are plenty of spontaneous and planned social events—from formal dances to Delta Mu service trips, from club Telegrams to off-campus outings. And somehow our girls still find time to spend sunny afternoons on Back Campus, enjoying the sunshine and talking with friends.
Living on Campus
Though almost two-thirds of our students are day students, we are both a boarding school and a day school. This means that our students interact with girls from around the world, from as far away as China. Girls School student from afar live in Glenn Hall, our beautiful new girls dormitory. It provides a home-away-from-home for our girls, with caring Housemothers and Resident Assistants who help our girls navigate high school. Life in Glenn Hall helps our girls develop independence and self-confidence, as well as strong bonds of friendship.
