Our Beliefs

An ANC education is inspired and supported by the teachings of the New Church. Some of our basic beliefs are:

  The Lord Jesus Christ is the one God of heaven and earth.

  The Lord's Word (the Bible) is the bedrock for true Christianity.

  The Lord's Word is a user's guide to life. The Word imparts its gems to us when we learn to understand the spiritual significance of biblical allegory and apply it to our daily lives. | The Word of God (www.newchurch.org)

  We choose our eternal home by the choices we make in this life.

  The New Church teaches that heaven is for everyone who wants to live there. While people have the freedom to choose a life in hell, God's greatest wish is that we lead a good life and live eternally in heavenly joy. | Life After Death (www.newchurch.org)

  The life of religion is to do good.
