Summer Camps | ANC Summer Camp
ANC Summer Camp is a week-long, residential camp held on the ANC campus. The purpose of the camp is to familiarize students with ANC and the New Church religion that is the foundation for our school. ANC campers come from across North America to get to know over 150 other students in a relaxed and chaperoned environment.
ANC Summer Camp will be held July 8-14, 2012.
This year, camp is open to all students who would like to learn more about ANC and who have completed 8th or 9th grade. Campers stay in on campus, in our dormitories and eat at our dining hall.
Every morning starts with worship and religion classes. Campers then spend their mornings in 'academic' classes like cooking, photography, technical theater, and music recording. In the afternoons, students enjoy recreational classes such as volleyball, yoga, karate, challenge, excess recess, or indoor soccer.
Evenings are filled with social events—a pool party, an ice cream sunday social, roller skating, and more. The week concludes with the Summer Camp Olympics, where teams compete in events such as the Dizzy Lizzy, Egg Toss, Scooter Relay, and more.
