ANC Summer Camp 2010

Save the Date for the 31st Annual ANC Summer Camp

What?

ANC Summer Camp is a week-long, residential camp held on the campus of The Academy of the New Church. The purpose of the camp is to familiarize students with ANC and the New Church religion that is the foundation for our school.

Why?

Because it's a ton of fun!

Campers get to know more than 150 other students in a relaxed and chaperoned environment.

Every morning starts with chapel and religion classes. Campers then take interesting and creative academic classes like cooking, photography, technical theater and music recording. In the afternoons, we offer recreational classes such as volleyball, yoga, karate, challenge, excess recess, and indoor soccer.

New courses are offered each year, so check back in the spring for a listing of this summer's choices.

Evenings are filled with social events—a pool party, an ice cream social, roller skating and more. The week ends with Summer Camp Olympics where teams compete in events such as Tug-of-War and the Dizzy Lizzy.

Who?

Camp is open to all students who would like to learn more about ANC and who have completed the 8th or 9th grade during the 2009-2010 school year. Campers are invited to come for both years if they like.

Where?

ANC and the surrounding community. Campers stay in the residential student dorms and eat at the newly renovated Dining Hall.
