
HealthCorps: Tennis for Life
Description: The 2008 HealthCorps Summer Institute will combine Tennis instruction and practice, aqua aerobics, yoga and other flexibility and meditation exercises, with Health Corps’ curriculum of Science, Nutrition, Fitness and Mental Resilience. All of these elements of fitness are dealt with in-depth by the team of instructors, and integrated to promote maximum understanding and habit-building for a long and healthy life.
Who is it for: All ages teen and up, who wish to develop a healthier lifestyle through exercise and diet; those who wish to significantly improve their understanding of fitness issues and how they intertwine in a healthy lifestyle; healthcare professionals and those interested in a career in the field of healthcare; coaches and coaches-in-training.
