The general purposes of student life in the Boys School and Girls School are to...

  • to support academic work by providing needed recreation for the students
  • to help the students come to know one another, make friends, and develop a sense of New Church community
  • to teach, strengthen, and enjoy all the moral virtues.

In addition to the social functions that take place each weekend throughout the school year, the Academy sponsors several clubs and organizations for students who want to be involved in organized activities.

The Academy athletic program provides interscholastic competition throughout the year. The Boys School teams include football, soccer, ice hockey, wrestling, basketball, baseball, and lacrosse. The Girls School fields teams in tennis, field hockey, basketball, volleyball, softball, and lacrosse.
