                              42street

     What began as the movie that saved Warner Bros. Studios in 1933, then went on to premiere as a Broadway play in 1980, is soon to become ANC's next school musical. Set in New York City during the Great Depression, "42nd Street" tells the story of an up-and-coming chorus girl's rise to stardom. The show begins at an audition for the new play "Pretty Lady" and follows the characters through the play's production.
