Quote of the Month

"Love consists in desiring to give what is one's own to another. To feel the joy of another as joy in oneself -- that is loving."

Academic and Administrative Facilities

The Academy campus, looking west. Students visit the Glencairn Museum, left, for Art, History and Religion classes, and Cairnwood Mansion, right, for History. Both facilities are used for formal social events.

Although conveniently located near Philadelphia, the Academy campus is nestled in the borough of Bryn Athyn, with its quiet neighborhoods, woodlands and fields.

Classroom facilities for the Academy are housed primarily in three buildings, with some use made of other specialized cultural facilities.  Benade Hall is the home of the Girls School and DeCharms Hall houses the Boys School, but all students attend classes in both buildings.  The Fine Arts Center is dedicated to the study of the visual and performing arts, and use of this facility is shared with Bryn Athyn College.

Financial and business offices are located in Pitcairn Hall, and facility maintenance and security are found in the CPO building.
