Sarah Cooper Waelchli

Coach Cooper Waelchli participated in four sports in her time as a student in the Girls School. She played left wing for the field hockey team. In the winter, she played volleyball before joining the inaugural girls basketball team. In girls lacrosse, she was a left defensive wing.

Coach Cooper Waelchli has returned to coach three of those sports. She was the girls basketball coach for five years and the lacrosse coach for two. She has been the field hockey coach since 2001. Coach Cooper Waelchli led the field hockey team to the Friends League title in 2004. She is in her 11th year teaching Spanish at ANC.

Coach Cooper Waelchli is married to Chris Waelchli (coach of girls soccer). She is an aunt to Emma, Caeden, Aria, Owen and Deryn.
