"Love consists in desiring to give what is one's own to another. To feel the joy of another as joy in oneself -- that is loving."

Payment plans are available through Tuition Management Systems, Inc. for families who would prefer to pay in installments over the year. To get more information about TMS or set up your payment plan for the upcoming school year, go to www.afford.com or call 1-800-722-4867. Please review our 2008-2009 Charges & Financial Aid brochure for additional information.
Refund Policy:
Students who withdraw from school or the dormitory are allowed a refund of fees prepaid according to the following schedule:
Payment of refunds will be processed after the end of the term in which the student withdrew, provided all other fees (such as bookroom balances or library fines) have been paid.
Financial Aid:
The Academy offers financial aid grants to admitted students who demonstrate a need for assistance with the cost of attendance. Families must complete an application and submit it to the Financial Aid Office along with requested documentation.
The information provided in the application is used to calculate the applicant's Expected Family Contribution (EFC), and accordingly, the student's Financial Need. Financial Need is the gap between your EFC and your total bill to attend the Academy. Our calculation is based on the formula used by the U.S. Department of Education for college-level financial aid, but has been customized for our purposes.
The information provided on the application is held in strict confidence by the Financial Aid Office. Only the minimum amount of information necessary to approve a grant is disclosed to the members of the Financial Aid Committee, and no information at all is released to any persons beyond those faculty and staff members directly involved in distributing and accounting for institutional grant funds.
The filing deadline is the June 1st preceding the year of attendance. Applications are processed on a first come, first serve basis, so the earlier you submit your application, the more likely it is that sufficient funds will be available to fully meet your financial need. We continue to accept and review applications after the deadline, and will award grants to late applicants as long as funds are still available. Awards are not guaranteed from one year to the next; families must apply each year for continued assistance with returning students.
New: Families with students attending both the Bryn Athyn Church School and the Academy Secondary Schools may submit one financial aid application to either school for all students attending both schools. Please check the box on the front of the application giving us permission to copy your application to the other school's Financial Aid Administrator for processing.
Use our Financial Aid Calculator to get an estimate of your EFC for planning purposes:
