“I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit”
(John 15:16)
The Academy campus, looking west. Students visit the Glencairn Museum, left, for Art, History and Religion classes, and Cairnwood Mansion, right, for History. Both facilities are used for formal social events.
Although conveniently located near Philadelphia, the Academy campus is nestled in the borough of Bryn Athyn, with its quiet neighborhoods, woodlands and fields.
The Academy of the New Church has a long history of residential students. Both dormitories are replacements for earlier, original structures that go back to the beginning of the twentieth century. Glenn Hall is the residence for girls, Stuart Hall houses the boys, and the Dining Hall feeds students from both the high school and college.
